iCloud Storage APIs
Jul 29th
It occurred to me while reading the following article at API Evangelist, that Apple’s new iCloud service could be the gateway to synchronous computing across devices. I’m specifically talking about the “key-value data storage” system that let’s Apps store their application state.
What if your current browser state was saved on your computer and you could pick up your iPhone and those pages would be all open in mobile safari? That would be pretty useful. Just a thought.

What Gen Y wants from work
Jul 20th
Here’s another great story from webworkerdaily.com’s guest writer Ryan Healy. He takes a look at what generation Y workers want from their work and how they are changing the employee / employer dynamic. Topics: remote work locations, entrepreneurship in standard business structures, and the freelance mentality.
*Update: I got an email from Ryan. He’s actually visited my alma mater, Guilford College. That’s a nice surprise. Keep up the good work Ryan.
